Android November security update/patch 2020 tracker for all major OEMs and carriers worldwide.
Android OEM:
OEM stands for “original equipment manufacturer”. In the smartphone industry, this term refers to companies that manufacture their own phones in their own factories.
Some examples of Android OEMs are Samsung, LG, etc.
Over the years, Android OEMs have become a lot more consistent when it comes to providing software updates for their devices.
Android ODM:
In addition, there is another term – ODM,
ODM – “original design manufacturer”. These companies also own factories where they manufacture phones (often in huge quantities). Then the ODM sells these phones to other companies, who re-brand the devices with their own names and logos.
It referred to as “white-labelling”.
Security Patch/Update – November
Most importantly smartphones are regularly getting updates from their respected Android vendors.
Above all, there’s still a long way to go when it comes to seeding major Android updates.
On speaking about Android updates, Android OEMs are busy rolling out September and October patches for their devices, the same is expected on November monthly patch.
Moreover, the below tracker will be updated as and when an OEM or carrier begins rolling out the November security update for any device.

Software updates usually cover any security holes and provide software patches to prevent hacking attacks. Mobile security is therefore important for all our mobile phones, even the most commonly used Android phones.
